About Our Mountains
Officially dedicated to God on Saturday, August 11, 2018, the Gethsemane Prayer Garden (GPG) is the manifestation of a divine vision (Habakkuk 2:3). As the first of its kind in Bayelsa State, the GPG stands as a sacred place of prayer and fasting, worship and praise, meditation and study of the Word, devotion and fellowship.
Its establishment is, in part, a fulfillment of the Great Commission. The guiding vision of this prayer mountain in these end times is to equip men and women spiritually—training them in the discipline of importunate prayer, enabling them to receive divine illumination, and positioning them for the fulfillment of destiny in Christ.
The GPG is a spiritual training ground where prayer eagles are raised—believers who will mount up with wings and soar in the heavenlies, lifting midnight cries unto the Throne of Mercy. Over the years, countless testimonies of healing, deliverance, and miraculous breakthroughs have been recorded from those who sought God’s face at the Garden.
Named after the Biblical Gethsemane, where our Lord Jesus Christ prayed earnestly for the Father’s will concerning His Passion (Matthew 26:36), the Gethsemane Prayer Garden is truly a place of prevailing prayer—a PLACE OF FINAL SOLUTION through communion with God.
The Garden is uniquely structured into three sacred sections:
The Throne of Mercy
The Restored Garden of Eden
The Throne of Fellowship
It also features over 25 dedicated prayer altars, the River of Life (Revelation 22:1–2; Ezekiel 47:1), prayer caves, and the 50-seater Divine Upper Room Fellowship Centre. In addition, a newly completed guest accommodation facility provides visitors with modern comfort, including 24-hour electricity and serene surroundings conducive for spiritual retreat.
By the enabling grace of God, we believe that the Gethsemane Prayer Garden will soon become a vibrant centre of revival and spiritual renewal—not only for the Christian community in Bayelsa State and the Niger Delta region, but across Nigeria and beyond.
Our vision is to glorify God through purposeful ministry and transformative outreach. We are committed to winning souls for Christ and nurturing believers in an atmosphere of faith and love — an Arena of Salvation where lives are renewed by the power of the Gospel. Through Jesus Evangelism Outreach, we extend the message of hope to all, serving our communities with compassion through educational initiatives, hospital and social services, orphan care, and sustainable farming projects. In all things, we strive to reflect the heart of Christ and advance His kingdom on earth.
Our Mission as Guided by the truth of John 4:24 — “God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” — our mission is to lead believers into genuine worship and deeper fellowship with God. We embrace love as the ultimate path to spiritual growth, expressing it through service, compassion, and unity. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we dedicate ourselves to soul winning, discipleship, and the demonstration of Christ’s love in every sphere of life.
